Initially, I didn't get why it was only attorneys representing property owners who stood up to the mandates. But I do now. Taking away property rights is the goal of the current operating system. Five years ago, my high schooler was embarrassed that I didn't know anything about continental philosophy, the Frankfurt School, CRT, etc. I do now. While I still struggle with the material, it is slowly seeping into my understanding. I recognize that we are living in an operating system where those in charge believe the government is to be the ultimate expression of authority. This is how you have Supreme Court justices who find the First Amendment an inconvenience to the government's goals and a Constitutional law professor who sees the enumerated rights as mere guideposts. So often, these proclamations are made by women with a 'mother goose' air, so it seems soft and kind when they hit you with new limitations. Fredrich Hayek wrote fascism occurs when the leaders realize communism has failed. It is clear that the Democratic Party is in bed with various businesses, picking the winners and squashing the losers. And this all makes sense under neo-Marxist beliefs. Marxism failed to inspire the working class to revolt, so the operating system was upgraded to work its way through the cultural and academic institutions. The working class was then discarded and became deplorables. It is the upper class reborn into the new ideology to lead the way.

thank you, Bobbie Ann, for always being NYers' advocate. I think we tried voting them out as I've read the last gov election was stolen and Zeldin actually won. I love your passion and righteous indignation which fuels my own, and you're right, apathy is winning. Many that realize what's going on have left NY. Property taxes where I live have skyrocketed. Meantime many that have worked their whole lives scrimp by on soc. sec. have to decide whether they can stay in their homes to afford them with the ongoing inflation for necessities. More than a slap in the face when these illegals get way more than you do and you know this has to be taxing the health care system here, too. Apathy is right. When I post alarming truths on FB, only a few will read.

I do vote, I do support our local Republican candidates, I’m all for staying and fighting, but then Westchester and NYC go and fuck it up for the rest of us!! I’ll fight as long as I can but at some point I feel I may have to leave before I the laws are so tyrannical here I can’t!

As the attorney character Denny, so well played by actor William Shatner on "Boston Legal" used to repeatedly say to wonder women like you, lawyer Bobbie Anne Cox : "Marry me!"

You are "da bom!" as kids used to say in the 90s...

Scary crap in NY.

Seems like it is the mirror image of WaDC’s plan.

I hope that you are correct and that we can recover our country; right now it is a shit mess!

Yes. We can analyse the problem on a case by case basis, or simply recognize that "representative" democracy is a VERY sick joke. Representative democracy was never representative of civil Law or civic responsibility. It is an elitist sham, and will continue to wax fraudulent as long as "citizens" fail to understand the 'legal' differences between the terms "Citizen" and "Civilian"...

Writs of Quo Warranto should be brought against ALL representatives in New York State and elsewhere. These persons need to be *removed* from office, their properties and investments seized, and the majority should be tried and indicted for Treason. Voting them in or out is a joke. A bad joke.

Sorry if you're offended by my honesty...

Any possibility of citizen bringing a lawsuits against their local government. don't we have standing if our taxpayer funds are being mis-approriated? I have yet to meet a new yorKer who approves of the governments management of the intentionally orchestrated illegal immigrant crisis. Is there any way to hold the government accountable for the mis-use of tax funds? When they claim they don't have the budget to pay for what taxes are supposed to pay for then technically if they are paying for other things with that money they are stealing from the citizens 🤔

There are criminals the police and honest prosecutors could go after-- people in political power. That is right now, the best use of resources in these areas. Political corruption is what lies behind many of the horrific problems sited. Yet these wealth, evil people remain untouched by police or prosecutors. Why is that?

Yes, vote them out but I would appreciate law enforcement investigating the crimes of the powerful (which are many and severe) and prosecutors to step forward with charges. Since covid, they have been MIA and we are without the rule of law.

My suggestion is to lean on these investigations, helping out and taking them on for their crimes. They know nothing is going to happen to them, no matter what they do. That can change. It must change.

Don’t forget the never ending wars and the billions funded for Ukraine and the slaughter in Palestine as well as the stealing of land in the West Bank that needs to cease immediately.

I will gladly vote against these Communists and support candidates who are against them. But will it do any good? We are dealing with a cult here in NY State buttressed by the big con of public health authorities. Some of us may have to move as one poster already suggested.

I support you mentally, emotionally and financially. I have met with Senator Rhoads and spoken at length to Senator Martin and other Republicans. We are outnumbered to say the least. I am supporting Cara Castronuova from LI for Senator. I have written hundreds of letters and emails to those dem senators you speak of and have watched the hearings etc and they make my blood boil. I have been focused on the horrible

Laws they are trying to push through regarding mandatory COVID shots and allowing MINORS to make medical decisions and get jabbed without parental consent. It is sickening. These senators and assemblymembers are sickening. My adult son moved to FL with my approval! We go down often. What a difference a state makes! I vote, I get involved, I attend rallies, I donate money and time, but too many New Yorkers are lazy and have no interest in politics and/or think everything is swell, we should take everyone in, love is love, and men can have babies! The school system, especially SUNY, is abominable. I don’t know how much more I can take :/

I agree to get them all out. However, Nick Langworthy and now Ed Cox do not challenge Democrat open seats. Where are we supposed to get republicsn candidates?
